Thanks to everyone who commented on Rebecca's birthday present, she was so pleased with it, I can't even describe in words how she reacted when she saw her.
I've been on leave this week so managed to get a really good start on Queen Mermaid. Here she is after a week ....
I couldn't capture the sparklies in her dress, so I'll try next time. I don't know, the last one was blurry, this one is flat, what on earth will the next pic be ...!

I don't think any stitched work photographs to the best of its potential Nicola. Your mermaid is coming along swimmingly! What is the fabric you're using? What a great idea to stitch QM & DL on the same piece of fabric!

Ooooh I didn't get chance to comment on the last post and here you are again, I am *so* behind! The photo's of your daughter are just the cutest! What a lovely gift for her! Your mermaid looks great too, you got loads done and I can seem some sparklies too :)
