Last week, Bec and I went to Wetlands to visit "Dylan George". Of course that's not his proper name, but he just looks like a Dylan George! I was totally enchanted by this wonderful looking Magpie Goose who had no qualms about sitting with me for a while as I fed him and stroked him before he wandered off for a dip in the pond.
Bec couldn't see what all the fuss was about, but I think he's really cute! He's not the best at actually getting in the water. To say he splash landed after an unceremonious nosedive would be an understatement, but I thought it just added to his charm. He's an endangered species so I hope he'll be around for a long, long time.
