Yes, it's been a long time ...

And I'm sorry I haven't been around. I had a complete meltdown in work in October and have had to have a lot of support both from my colleagues and from the doctor which is still ongoing as I write, but I'm slowly getting better and having less panic attacks. I'm still getting wound up about actually going to work but I can at least get in through the doors now and get on with day to day stuff.

I'll explain more as I blog more, I'm only now really starting to want to write again and show you what I've been doing during the past few months. So here we go ...

My girls are finally framed and on the wall - I refused to put anything on this wall until I'd done these as I knew they would look absolutely perfect for it ... and they are.

I knitted quite a lot for Christmas, there's nothing like adding a bit of pressure over before Christmas now is there? I finally finished Gary's socks on Christmas Eve, that's how close it got (although I don't have a pic of those for some reason). Here's just a selection of the 8 pairs I knitted, on top of that I made two pairs of fingerless mitts and a hat!

I had some lovely knitty ( Knitting Circles Around Socks sock yarn, circs and sock blockers) and stitchy stuff ( Moonlit Mermaid , Dangerous Beauty) for Christmas as well as some books At My Mother's Knee by Paul O'Grady, Look Who It Is - Alan Carr and of course, How To Be A Gardener by Alan Titchmarsh - looking forward to doing more with the garden this year! (But only if next door's bloody dog stops jumping into my garden and stops wrecking havock ... my sprouts are inedible now, sigh ...) I have one more thing to show you that's very special to me but I haven't taken a proper photo of it yet (need good light, so you'll have to wait!)

More posts this week, promise, I have plenty more to tell.
