It's been a while since I posted as it's been so busy around here lately. My father in law has taken a turn for the worse and the family have been told that there is nothing more that can be done for him now.
Last Friday, Adrian and Alana decided to have their forthcoming wedding blessed at the hospital so that Sid could see them getting married, sort of. Although Alana giggled like a schoolgirl right through it, which got on everyone's nerves, Sid said to Adrian the following day how much he enjoyed it although he didn't think he'd be around for the actual wedding in April.
He took a turn for the worse on Monday and the family were called down to the hospital to sit with him. He seemed to go downhill so quickly, yet yesterday he was sitting up and eating a yogurt! Go figure!
Gary went to see him today though and he's now on a syringe-driver so he's obviously in pain and I'm hoping he'll just slip away quietly in his sleep.
