Winterscape done!

Well here we are with the first finish of 2013. Now I have to admit, I didn't enjoy knitting them. I felt that the needles were too small for the yarn even though I didn't change a thing about the pattern. It was really hard on the hands and wrists to knit with and I couldn't wait for them to be finished.

What really wound me up was that the second sock was looking very similar to the first in the way the colours were blending. Then I came to a knot. A knit in a skein is bad enough but the fact that it was joined at a totally different point really peeved me, even more reason to dislike them.

Apparently they soften up with washing. We'll see when I try that at the weekend, must find my sock blockers first though ...
