And another ...

A few years ago I was in a SAL that only stitched a particular project on a bank holiday weekend - well after a while, that went for a ball of chalk and it was put to one side to languish (as most of my projects have been) in my stitchy box.

Well, I've slowly been trying to work my way through it and have at last finished "Mermaid Heart" by Just Nan ...

I don't know when or where I'm going to get it framed yet. To be honest, I'm not so impressed with my regular framer any more, she's not taking as much care as I'd like lately. I made her take Mediterranean Mermaid apart as she'd caught a load of "bits" in between the two mounts and hadn't even noticed it. I saw it the minute I laid eyes on it. To top it all, she didn't even bother wrapping it - I just had to walk out and carry it as it was. My daughter's Christmas Couriers don't even have the same colour mounts ... nope not impressed. Sorry, this has turned into a rant....

Anyway, I'm in no hurry to frame this one, I've only given it a quick press so far (not even washed it, how naughty am I?!)

I'm really enjoying stitching Sabrina though, I'm hoping to have the hair (yes, the hair!) and face done before I go back to work on Tuesday. (For those who know me, I hate stitching hair, I don't know why, but I do, so for those who do know me, pick yourselves up and brace yourself for a pic to prove it .... soon!!!)

A lovely finish. I can remember that SAL. Look forward to seeing your progress on Sabrina and I can also remember that you hate hair lol.
