We survived!

The sleepover did in fact become a sleepover! What a relief! I think they crashed out at around 12.30 a.m. which by her standards was good going! Personally, I think it was the company she was keeping this time. The last time two of the girls that stayed were pretty wild and had spent all night making as much noise as possible so that they didn't and wouldn't let the others sleep, so it's a relief that she's made new friends who seem more mature and enjoyed the sleepover for what it was. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that I'd happily have all three of them over at the same time again for another.

We bought her some music books (which she asked for), her face lit up when she opened them. She's performing a song from the Sound of Music next week at school and is absolutely thrilled to have the sheet music for that. She was pleased to have a couple of dvd's too - girly ones like The Devil Wears Prada and, er, Primeval - the ITV's answer to Dr Who - just hope she doesn't get nightmares ...

I've been stitching my HAED for most of the week, tomorrow I'll post a pic. I'm still working on the moon, so there's nothing really exciting to look at yet, but it'll be nice to see some progress I think.
